Eng. Ihssan Almakari is a civil and environmental engineer specializing in construction management, engineering contracts, project controls, and dispute avoidance. She has extensive experience in planning, scheduling, contract administration, cost management, and the successful delivery of complex construction and infrastructure projects.

Her professional expertise focuses on strengthening project governance, contractual compliance, risk management, and the effective administration of engineering contracts throughout the project lifecycle.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Master’s degree in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Management.

Her postgraduate research focused on digital transformation within Syrian regulatory agencies, exploring how BIM can enhance engineering management, contract administration, and institutional modernization.

Eng. Almakari is committed to continuous professional development and has completed specialized training in Construction Management, Contract Management, and the FIDIC Conditions of Contract.

As a Member of the Board of Directors of the Syrian Center for Engineering Contracts and Arbitration (SCECA), Eng. Almakari contributes to advancing excellence in engineering contracts, construction management, and alternative dispute resolution.
